Where Everything Happens - Atelier

I spend like 90% of the
time there (or here -
I am in my atelier
right now).
There is
nothing
extraordinary
about it and I am

room because it is clean and
beautiful.

My First-Aid-Kit
01- What I carry in my tote bag everyday.
02- A cardholder and a billfold coin which go inside the biggest pouch.
03- Diary from WHSmith for any suddently idea and (obviously) for booked appointments and a pencil case.
04- Sunglasses and their case, my everyday mate, even when it's cloudy.
05- Phone (and my boyfriend in the picture)
06 / 07- Dazed & Confused Magazine, favourite magazine. Just another 'equipment' that never goes out of my first-aid-kit (bag), unless it is to replace it with a new issue.
08- Bottle of water.
09- Cigarette case.
I am one of those people who always go out to buy something they need and end up buying in a lot. If I go out to buy, I don't know, a deodorant, you can be sure I will be back with at least three deodorants.
I found a small collection of monochrome zippers in my stuff which I probably bought when actually I just needed one. And decided to make these little pouches to get rid of unnecessary things and honestly mine, which I used to wear, were so outworn.

Recycling Is More Than Important
Exactly one year, twelve months, three hundreds and sixty five days since I founded Pedro Korshi, that means - three collections, more than fifty pieces of clothing and lots and lots of patchwork were left in a wood box under my sewing machine table. Erm, why? Well, just for the simple fact they can be reused one day. Recycling should be a law and not just an environmental education. We live on the same planet, money doesn't grown on trees, energy is expensive and we, humans, breathe the same air. Recycling is like a routine since I was born, since I am known as human and reusing the blank side of an used paper will make a big difference to our planet.
Therefore I decided to open a new label/category on the blog - 'Recycling', on which I will be publishing pieces of clothing or some other things I make from patchwork. I am ready to fly up!

Rest In Peace Lens
I was going to a café this morning to have a breakfast and to shot my outfit. My camera was in one of my hands and unluckily it fell to the ground and broke its lens. Hopefully I will get a new one this week. :(

Darwin Korshi, born on 09 Jan 2013 in England - UK.
15 minutes of super-delicate birth. When I thought all the pieces were already out of the box, I opened the bottom of it and THERE were his hands and arms that were missing.
Seriously now. Say hello to my very first mannequin I bought to make my first lookbook (probably in February) for my Autumn-winter 2013-4 collection. Well, this is just a pre-preview of what is coming up.
Definition of Darwin = "DARk WINgs city" and also because of Charles Robert Darwin.

Review of 2012: The Best Moments

They Will Always Be There!

Some people say that the most important thing that everyone
must have in wardrobe is a pair of jeans, some others say different bags and
others a pair of earring. YES! My sister is one of them who says the most
important thing is a pair of earrings and when she forgets to put them in she
says that she’s feeling completely naked.
I would say my wardrobe must have, at least a black, white
and grey t-shirts, a pair of slim fit suit trousers in black and another pair
in white. Am I the only person in the world who DOES NOT have a pair of jeans?
Am I the only person in the world who never wears jeans? - Probably one of them. The last time I wore
jeans was because of fashion trends – oh! that’s ridiculous! But no problem, it
was a great chance to find out that I really don’t like denim.
Today I was cleaning my wardrobe as every three months and I
discovered that I've got all types of trousers in – slim, harem, high waist
ones… - the only trousers that are missing in my wardrobe are the wide leg ones
because I couldn't find any good ones that fit perfectly on me. But let’s try out some wide leg trousers by Margiela for H&M (in exactly one month).

On My Bedroom Wall
On Tuesday I received an email with a couple of picture from Vinicius Rosa who drew myself on two pieces of paper, scanned and sent me them which probably were inspired by these outfits >>> HERE and HERE.
He studies art at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil and posts out his works on Tumblr and Flickr.

New Label - Pedro Korshi
Today I am opening a new label which is called "Pedro Korshi", yes, this is my name, it's basically a label to show everything, including accessories, clothes made by myself but NOT including DIY projects; it will be divided by seasons.
A couple of months before starting a new season I will post a LOOKBOOK which I will show everything I've made, probably when the Fashion Weeks start.
There will not a LOOKBOOK for this season because it has started and also I didn't make enough for it.
Many ideas and plans are invading my mind, so wish me good luck!
