Ishibashi Yui - 'Humans On The Planet Plant'

Ishibashi Yui is a 28-year-old Japanese artist who is based in Tokyo where also went to Tama Art University and was graduated, in 2010. Just as natural forces through out veins, plants have their own internal network for keeping themselves alive. Yui creates sculptures and paintings which show the symbiotic relationship between the human - although perhaps because of the white bodies and softness, depending on the point of view, they give the viewer a from-another planet idea/sense - and the plant world that nourishes and deplete each other. Using a variety of materials such as wood, resin, clay, stone powder, cloth and steel wire, her protrusions seem to be either painful or somehow cute. Please check out her website -

Xiang Jing

Xiang Jing is a Chinese artist who were born in 1968 and is based and living in Beijing. Jing is widely known for her sculptures and paintings, gets invitations to display her work all over the world and is one of the few successful artists who excel at creating female bodies which depict the imperfection - although perfection is so relatively impossible in my point of view.
Children who are so much taller than the adults, ladies masturbating and headless women yet beautifully perfect.

Paolo Troilo 'A head doesn't necessarily need to be a head'

Paolo Troilo, a contemporary artist who was born in Taranto in 1972 but lives and works in Milan.
His artistic expression consists in its originality formal, he doesn't work with a wide variety of techniques and colours, only black and white inks and his fingers.
His works are quite expressive, strong and sometimes dramatic like the attitude of someone pulling down someone's legs as if they were trying to fly - it just depends on the viewpoint - or then a human body where should actually have a nail instead. I admit that some of them freak me out a little bit, after all my eyes are not accustomed to seeing a huge finger where, scientifically, should have a head instead. PLEASE check out this VIDEO!

Kevin Francis Gray

It is kinda impossible to hide myself from sculptures, statues like these ones above. I do try as this kind of work makes me crazy, out of myself, I don't know, it is an unexplainable feeling.
Kevin Francis Gray, a genius, born in Northern Ireland in 1972 but now living and working in London - Oh gosh, a genius is treading the same ground as me and not too far away.
He has been in the global spotlight for a decade now, showing regularly in various countries around the world.
Leather, marble, bronze and fibreglass are the chosen materials Francis Gray is accustomed to work with. No matter the subject he chooses to portray, his sculptures are always dramatic and his models' faces are always covered with masks or veils - "I'll hide it under a blanket lull it to sleep" - as my babe, Bjork says (Hidden Place).

Michal Mozolewski's Magic Eyes

First of all, I would like to thank Tumblr's users for rebloging good stuffs - not always - till one of Michal's works appear on my laptop screen.
Michal Mozolewski is a digital artist from Poland - I knew we had something in common, half of my family is Polish though I don't speak polish at all. Admittedly it is probably the hardest language in the world even to say pronounce 'hello' in Polish - His work is basically a relationship between photo-manipulation and mixed media work.
Mozolewski's work features dramatic, pornographic, emotional and melancholic situations like a woman hugging herself, another who is apparently distressing, or not, it depends on your point of view and that's what I truly enjoy about it.

Chris Phillips - Skin Is The Only Necessary Layer

Chris Phillip is a 24-year-old Berlin-based photographer, born in Brazil and creator of the erotic art project Pornceptual, an online gallery for erotic art.
Chris feels like a fashion designer whose garments are the skin of his models, models who are friends of him or who he had never seen before. Ideas come from unexpected things, unexpected moments or what is happing at the moment.
Dramatic and expressive photographs are either taken in a studio or in public places - where there are no people around. Models having sex with a plant, a gay couple's "routine" in their flat, in a kitchen, bloodied models in a bathtub, playing with inks, wrapped in a piece of plastic.
Looking at his (or their, if I am still talking about Chris' project) photographs make you feel excited, amazed or even horny, in the same way some people do when they watch fashion shows, or football match, OR when we eat chocolate; Chris' work makes you masturbate using your eyes, takes you to a faraway place, it is definitely from another world.
